The average age a child is first exposed to pornography is just 11 years old. From what they should know before they've seen it, to what we should talk about well into teenagerhood, let's dive into how to have these conversations with our kids so they grow up happy, healthy and informed!

About the event
With access to porn becoming easier and easier from tablets, to cell phones to personal laptops, parents aren't naive to the idea that their kids might stumble upon it eventually, but how do we talk to them about it? Or when?
This workshop is geared towards parents but the information can easily be adjusted for anyone working with kids! Think your kids are too young for these conversations? I would recommend this talk to anyone with kids ages 5-18 so, if possible, we can start long before they ever see pornography.
We'll talk about;
- why we need to talk to kids about porn
- myths and truths about porn & kids
- how to talk about porn through all ages and build upon these conversations
